Pro-Retinol (retinyl palmitate)
Our complex for pro-retinol is a derivative of retinol, a natural from of vitamin A and at the forefront of technology for the treatment of damaged human skin. Vitamin A stimulates cell generation and the production of collagen, the building block of skin.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba has a similar chemical makeup to the sebum oil that our skin produces naturally and recognised as one of the most easily absorbed natural oils available today. Jojoba oil helps soften the skin and is known to help reduce effects associated with ageing.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E nourishes the skin to giver it a youthful luistre and fights the free radicals that can damage and age. Vitamin E works in the formula by improving the firmness and elasticity of the skin, while helping to neutralise free radicals which can accelerate ageing.

Antioxidants in Time Defy Serum
The skin is continually exposed to the generation of free radicals by the action of light on the skin. These free radicals are highly reactive and can damage any biological molecules that they come into contact with.
In addition to vitamin E, Time Defy Serum also contains retinyl palmitate. This is a vitamin A derivative, also known as Pro-Retinol. Once applied to the skin retinyl palmitate is cleaved by the skin?s enzymes to release retinol. The structure of retinol makes it an exceptionally effective anti-oxidant.
 In addition there is also a well documented anti-ageing benefit associated with retinol. This has been demonstrated in several trials, including most recently a full placebo controlled double blind study, the same kind of protocol used to test medicines. This was published in the May edition of the prestigious Archives of Dermatology. The high standard of this test has attracted considerable attention in the media.

Directions for Use
For maximum results, gently apply TIme Defy Serum morning and evening to the area around the eyes and to the forehead, taking care not to pull the delicate skin under the eye. Apply makeup as normal after use if required.

Caution - If direct contact with the eye occurs, wash out. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Sensitivity test - before normal application, test product on a small area of skin. Wait 24 hours, if any sensitivity occurs, discontinue use.
